September 16, 2010:  How To Be Your Own Patient Advocate

In our current medical system, well-informed, well-connected, and proactive patients get better care. At this workshop, Health Advocacy Solutions president Jason McNichol, PhD, will share tips and tricks on how to expertly navigate our complicated and changing health system to get the best care possible. You will learn how to:

• Take advantage of health reforms to improve coverage and reduce costs
• Find and work effectively with providers who are right for you
• Make fully informed treatment decisions
• Discover helpful resources, locally and online

This free program is open to the general public of all ages.  A suggested tax-deductible donation of $10 will be graciously accepted at the door to support our work.
