Support Us
August, 2009
Dear Friend,
Health Advocacy Solutions empowers patients and families to effectively navigate our complex healthcare system to get the best care possible. We do so by offering innovative educational, research, and support services—online, in person, and through community partners.
The current crisis in our healthcare system and economy more generally only increases the urgency of our independent public mission. As far as we know, we are the only nonprofit patient advocacy organization nationwide that does not accept substantial donations from insurance companies, drug companies, medical device manufacturers, hospitals, or other major healthcare industry interest groups. In this environment, our singular loyalty to the best interests of patients and families stands out.
May I humbly ask you to consider making a fully tax-deductible donation to help us realize our vision? The generosity of spirit you offer now will yield returns many times over, helping us to become a vital self-sustaining resource for diverse individuals and communities-- regionally and nationwide.
Donations by check can be made out to "Health Advocacy Solutions" and mailed to:
Health Advocacy Solutions
3439 NE Sandy Blvd. #311
Portland, Oregon, 97232.
Please be sure to provide us with your name and a return address so that we can send you a receipt for tax purposes.
To donate by credit card, simply click the "Donate" button below You will be taken to a secure PayPal screen and provided with an opportunity to indicate the amount of your gift (you do not need a PayPal account to use this service). All gifts are tax deductible as charitable contributions, and you will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
On behalf of the many patients and consumers we serve, as well as our all-volunteer directors and staff, thank you!
Kindest regards,
Jason McNichol, PhD
Founder and Executive Director
